Carlos Vasquez pitched seven scoreless innings as the Riversharks pushed their winning streak to five games with a 3-1 victory over the Road Warriors. Jay Marshall pitched the 9th inning and picked up his 8th save of the season.
Vasquez (10-3) allowed just four hits and three walks in his seven innings of action and became the first Riversharks pitcher to reach the ten win plateau. He has now thrown 14 straight shutout innings.
Miguel Martinez (5-11) took the loss despite a strong performance throwing a complete game allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits.
Alvin Colina gave the Riversharks a 2-0 lead in the 4th inning with a two-run home run, his 9th of the season.
Toby Hall provided Camden with an insurance run in the 7th inning with a sacrifice fly that scored Jonel Pacheco and pushed the lead to 3-0.
