The Cleveland Indians have signed catcher Raul Padron, 26, to a free-agent contract and assigned him to the AA Akron Aeros. In 44 games with the Riversharks this season, Padron was batting .335 with 7 homers and 30 RBI's. His OPS was among the Atlantic League's best at .921
The Trenton Thunder have a 3 game homestand against the Aeros August 2nd, 3rd and 4th. You better believe I'll make the trip to see how Raul's doing.
