'Sharks Down Patriots 3-1
Bridgewater, NJ- The Camden Riversharks defeated the Somerset Patriots 3-1 in front of 5,110 fans at TD Bank Ballpark on Tuesday evening.
The Riversharks scored to take a 1-0 lead in the fifth after Eduardo Perez doubled and scored on an RBI double by Lloyd Turner.
Camden rallied to add to their lead in the seventh after Pedro Feliz scored on an error and Perez scored on an RBI base hit by Steve Doetsch to make the score 3-0.
Somerset got on the board in the bottom half of the eighth after Adam Donachie scored on a groundout by Joe Holden for the 3-1 final.
Camden starter Bryan Corey (7-7) got the win after allowing a run on four hits in seven innings pitched. Justin Cassel (3-8) suffered the loss for Somerset, allowing three runs on nine hits in seven innings of work. John Lujan came on in the ninth to pick up his 21st save of the season.
