from the York Daily Record:
The York Revolution are Atlantic League champions for the second straight year, becoming the second franchise to win back-to-back titles.
The Revs beat the Long Island Ducks, 6-3, in front of a bundled-up but noisy crowd of 3,767 at Sovereign Bank Stadium in York. They dropped Game 1 on the road to the Ducks but won the next three games to claim the title.
York put up a four-run eighth inning to break the game open.
Third baseman Vince Harrison was named Most Valuable Player. Harrison's bat was hottest in the postseason, as he went 19-for-37 at the plate during the playoffs.
York showed throughout to be a steady winning team.I admired their playing hard to the last out. I recall Ramon Castro hit a blast for a walk off vs Camden. Winning 2 titles in a row takes teamwork. Hopefully the Sharks can learn a little in terms of team building and hanging on to team players for next year
