On a swelteringly hot night at Campbell's field, the Road Warriors were just three outs away from a win. They had scored a run in the 8th to tie the game, and took the lead 6-5 in the top of the 9th when Amadeo Zazueta singled in Sean Henry.
But then something amazing happened. In the bottom of the 9th, Danny Richar hit a leadoff single, and Noah Hall blasted a 2 run, game winning homer over the left field fence. The dugout empties and mob Hall at home plate. Sharks win in dramatic fashion 7-6. I have never felt happier to be a Sharks fan.
