Camacho's Strong Start Wasted As Pats Walk Off Winners, 4-3

Dan DeGeorge hit a bases loaded single to left in the bottom of the ninth that scored Rian Kiniry, and the Somerset Patriots came from behind to beat the Camden Riversharks in dramatic fashion this afternoon at TD Bank Park, 4-3.

Camden led 3-0 after an RBI single from Eduardo Perez in the third scored Chris Walker, and a costly two run error by Somerset second baseman Dan Hennigan scored Alvin Colina and Danny Santiesteban in the fourth. The Pats offense was quiet throughout most of today's matchup, mainly because Camden's starter was on his game.

Eddy Camacho got the start for the 'Sharks today and pitched well. Camacho shut out the Pats through his first five innings of work, allowing only one hit while striking out six. But Somerset quickly chased the lefty from the game in the sixth when Yunesky Sanchez tagged him with a two run double that made it 3-2. The Pats tied the game later in the inning when Jesse Hoorelbeke's ground out scored Sanchez.
