Cause The Rocky Mountain Way Is Better Than The Way We Had...

The Riversharks lost their best starter this afternoon when the Colorado Rockies signed All Star righty Ricky Brooks to a minor league deal. Brooks will most likely report to the AAA Colorado Springs Sky Sox where he'll join another former 'Sharks hurler, Jason Bergmann.

In 10 games this season, Brooks was 6-1 with a 2.44 ERA. His departure leaves a giant hole in Camden's starting rotation, which as of now consists of Mike McGuire, Keith Weiser, Bryan Corey, and a returning from the DL Sean Jarrett. Kevin Reese might be the answer, but his last 5 starts have all lasted 4 innings or less. He's gone 6 innings just 3 times in 15 total starts this year.
